Pop Up Talent Shop in Birmingham city centre, Friday 28 February

Calling all 16-25s!
You're invited to come and check out the friendly local Pop Up Talent Shop, on Friday 28 February, between 12noon and 5pm, at The Square Shopping Centre (Oasis Market), Birmingham City Centre B4 7LJ

The Pop Up Talent Shop connects young people with employers and people in work. Inside the shop you can talk, hear, ask and show... You can demo your talents and take part in hands-on career tasters too.
After the shop you'll get the chance to sign up online where you can get linked up with work opportunities, mentors, training and development and even investment in your own talents for work.

SHINE event for young women 16-25 marking International Women's Day - 14 March 2014



SHINE - Succeed, Healthy, Independence, Nurture, Empower
14 March 2014, 11am-2pm, St Andrews Stadium

A group of young parents have teamed up with Support Workers from social business Bromford to launch a special event, open to young women aged 16-25, on 14 March at Birmingham FC’s St Andrews Stadium to mark International Women’s Day.
Activities include graffiti artist, music, body image demonstration, crafts, advice and support, inspirational speakers, childrens activities.
St Andrews is a child-friendly venue, with facilities such as baby changing, breastfeeding areas and a buggy store.
