Pop Up Talent Shop in Northfield, Monday 31 March

Calling all 16-25s!
You're invited to come and check out the friendly local Pop Up Talent Shop, on Monday 31 March, between 12noon and 3pm, at 741 Bristol Road South, Northfield, B31 2NG

The Pop Up Talent Shop connects young people with employers and people in work. Inside the shop you can talk, hear, ask and show... You can demo your talents and take part in hands-on career tasters too.
After the shop you'll get the chance to sign up online where you can get linked up with work opportunities, mentors, training and development and even investment in your own talents for work.

BBC3's "Free Speech" in Birmingham - 12 March

BBC3’s Free Speech is back, and looking to meet young people who want their voices to be heard.

This live political debate show, hosted by Rick Edwards, aims to give young people aged 16-34 a platform to voice their opinions to the people who can help make a difference. The first episode is on 12 March in Birmingham Central Mosque and will be focusing on the issues that you want to talk about. If you’re aged 16-34 and are interested in being part of the interactive audience, you can fill in this short online application form. You’ll need to be free from 5.30pm to 9pm on the day.
